Marketers2010 – Montevideo, Uruguay

marketers/10

I am currently in beautiful Montevideo, Uruguay. I’m here to speak at the Marketers2010 conference about emerging trends in digital media and how businesses should be adapting their online practices to take advantage of this social shift.

This is my first time in Uruguay and I am having a really wonderful time.

One of the cool things I’ve done while I’ve been here is visit the “Casapueblo”, a hotel and home of famous artist Carlos Paez Vilaro. It’s really amazing, a beautiful testament to living life on one’s own terms. I loved Carlos’ energy, the vibrancy he infuses in his works. Learning about his life I was struck by passion for living. His paintings are bold and fearless, much like him. I left feeling very inspired.

Tonight, I’ll be heading to the Teatro Solis to see an Opera.
